The principle of cold-rolling small-module involute splines on a rolling machine. The R wheel can be driven by an oil cylinder for radial feed movement, and the L wheel can be adjusted by the adjustment mechanism to coincide with the indentation of the R wheel on the surface of the workpiece P. Workpiece P is positioned and clamped by two center holes. Adjusting the fixture can make the work piece move axially. When force is applied, it can swing a Φ angle around the axis parallel to the machine tool spindle through O point on the fixture to ensure that the work piece is always in the cold rolling process. Keep the two rolling wheels in a free anti-rolling state, and at the same time facilitate the clamping of the workpiece.

The structural dimensions, shape and position tolerances and technical requirements of the rolling wheel are formulated with reference to the rolling wheel and cylindrical measuring gear. The common normal length or span M of the rolling wheel is calculated according to the spline data in the gear work. The required material can be Cr12MoV. (Hardness 59~62HRC).
